Chapter 7

A week had now passed since the proposal and everyone was getting ready for the wedding. It was all set out, they would marry as humans on a platform over the sea and the merpeople would sit on chairs that came up above the water. Then after the ceremony Damon and Arista would be transformed into merpeople and live their lives in the sea.

Finally the day of the wedding came Arista woke up and was all ready, and Ariel came into the room.

Arista I am so happy for you, Damon really is a great guy.

Thanks, I really love him.

The music played perfectly in tune as Arista walked down the isle with Ariel at her side. She looked down to the end and saw Damon standing there in his beautiful all white tuxedo next to him was Eric in his usual wedding attire. When she reached the end she took Damon’s hand and looked up into his deep black blue eyes.

Damon do you take Arista to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold till death do you part.

I do.

And do you Arista take Damon as your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold till death do you part.

I do.

I know pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride.

With that they kissed long and hard.

Right as they were almost done kissing they were lifted into the air and a magical glow surrounded them. Then they turned into merpeople and jumped into the ocean while waving good bye to everyone.
