Chapter 6
The sea witches lair

Melody this is where Ursula used to live before your father killed her. I wanted you to see this place so you can see that even though Ursula and Morgana are dead evil still lives in the sea.

Melody looked at the sight before here eyes she gazed.

There was an ominous eerie feeling at the sight of the eel shaped house. The prison of a house had a purple glow from the inside and a blue on the outside. The pillars of smoke were rising out of the volcanic chasms as if they were straight from the earth's core.

At the sight of the place Melody though," mom must of really loved dad to of gone to a place like that.

Melody looked question at her mother and said, "Mom how could you go in a place like that, I mean when I went into Morgana's lair it didn't feel evil or scary and I didn't even know she was bad.

I mean, you knew that Ursula had been banished and that she was evil and still you went into her lair.

How could do that?

Melody when you were not able to go into the sea before you knew about your heritage why did you still go?

It was because I wanted to be apart of something I was not apart of.

Exactly, Melody when I was a little girl my mother died because some humans caught her in a fish net and my dad forbade anyone from ever making contact with humans again.

So just like you were with the sea, I wanted to be apart of something I knew I could never have.

After that night when I met your father, I wanted to be apart of his world more than I had ever wanted to before. And from the moment I sang to him on the beach I knew someday

I would.

So just like you were when you heard that Morgana could turn you into a mermaid, I would do almost anything to become a human.

When I entered that place I was blinded by what the outcome would be if I couldn't get your father to kiss me by the third day.

All I could think about was that my dream could become a reality and that I loved your father and he loved me.

So that is how I entered that terrible place.

With that said the trio left the sea witches lair and headed home.

When they were almost home Jeremy came up and patted Melody on the shoulder.

Hey Melody, said Jeremy

Hey Jeremy what's up said Melody?

A bunch of us are going to a party at Mercedes house tonight including me and Crysta and I wanted to know if you wanted to come. Mercedes was the teenage daughter of Pearl an old friend of Ariel's.

Mom, Dad, can I go asked Melody?

Well I don't know Mercedes is almost as crazy as her mother was at her age said Ariel.

Oh mom please, asked Melody.

Well since Aquata is letting Crysta go I guess you can.

Oh mom thank-you so much said Melody.

I do have one condition though said Ariel.

Anything mom responded Melody.

I want you to use your communication device on your necklace in case you go anywhere other than the party like Eel-electric city.

Ariel was referring to the time when Pearl had taken her and Alana to Eel-electric city when she had said they were having a party.

I would hate to have to beach you when we were on vacation.

Alright mom, no problem said Melody.
