Secrets told

When Eric got back to the palace every one was in the great hall eating dinner.

When Eric swam up and sat next to Ariel she asked him how the meeting was.

Eric, looked up at Ariel with tears in his eyes and said,

Ariel, my mother is dying.

Ariel gasped for breath from what she had just heard.

All eyes were on Eric.

Ariel budded in and said Eric how did this happen.

She was eating lobster for dinner and I guess the chef poisoned it with something no doctor can figure out what it is.

He was one of Ursula's followers, right before he was sent to the gallows he said this, "Long live Ursula the true queen of the sea."

King Triton budded in Eric; I need you to tell me everything you know about this man.

There really isn't much known about him. He is about sixty years old, has long grayish white hair and a beard.

And just mysteriously show up right after Melody was born, my mother had one meal and hired him right away.

Triton looked very distressed.

Eric, I know who your mystery man is.

His name is Octavia's and he was the son of Ursula.

Daddy, you never told me Ursula had a son said Ariel.

Ariel after Ursula died and before Morgana fled to the Arctic there was a problem.

Octavia's furious that his mother's death wanted to get back at you and Eric so something had to be done about him.

I feared for yours and Eric's safety so together with the help of all the other Kings we rounded him up and put him where we though no one could ever get out of, the black chasms in the Bermuda triangle.

But then one night we found he was gone, we believed Morgana helped him on the price that he would help her take down Atlantica and then together they would rule the seven seas.

We searched everywhere all around the world for Octavia's, but we never could find him.

We thought he was dead until now.

This must be his way of revenge for Eric killing his mother said Triton.

And now he wants to kill mine concluded Eric.

Father, I need to return home immediately to be with her said Eric.

Very well Eric.

Eric, I want to come with you.

No, Ariel, I want you to stay here.

You need to be with your family right now and I need to be with mine said Eric.

She is my family to Eric retorted Ariel.

Ariel, Eric is right this is something he needs to do alone, for only he can stop Octavia's evil plot.

Ariel looked at Eric and sighed.

I guess I'm not going to get my way this time.

She kissed Eric and said give mother a big kiss for me.

Melody did the same.

At that King Triton and Eric set up for the surface.

When Eric reached the surface Triton raised his Trident and Eric turned back into a human again.

Before Eric left King Triton looked at him and said Eric, listen to me, Octavia's cannot be killed by man his body may be gone but his spirit still lives on only you can stop him.

Here take this, he gave Eric a small ring and two mirrors and said the ring is very important.

Eric, this ring has the power to defeat Octavia's, when you face him put on the ring and it will give you the power to defeat him.

Use the mirrors so whenever you need me, just call my name in the mirror and it will summon me to your side at any moment. The mirrors are so you may talk to anyone you like at any time. Eric if you give that mirror to your mother and she dies you will still be able to communicate with her.

Eric, looked at the gifts and then at Triton.

Thanks Dad and hugged him.
