H2O What a Feeling!

Another friendly pop song of the Songs from the Sea album, describing the fun and fancy free life that young Ariel leads. I really like the upbeat melody in this one, and the only gripe I can think of is the obvious anachronism that back during what we assume to be Ariel's time, the term "H2O" doesn't exist yet. Also, I'm not sure, but the title could be a reference to Irene Cara's "Flashdance, What a Feeling!"

(printable version)

Oh, I wish you could come swim with me, then you'll know what it feels like to be a mermaid.

Swim
Away with me
I'd love to be
Suspended in the crystal blue
With a friend like you

Let's go
The water's clear
The atmosphere
Is perfect for a flight below
In the H2O

H2O what a feeling to be flying
Through the H2O there is really no denying
It's a full-fin tailspin whale of a show
One two three and away we go
Through the H2O what a wonderful sensation
In the H2O there's a ton of recreation
Every which way, hooray, go with the flow
Fly with me in the H2O

Swim
Away with me
A symphony
Awaits the movement of our fins
And the fun begins

Let's go
The water's clear
The atmosphere
Is perfect for a flight below
In the H2O

Here in the ocean
Under the foam
I have a notion
To go with the motion
Of home

H2O what a feeling to be flying
Through the H2O there is really no denying
It's a full-fin tailspin whale of a show
One two three and away we go
Through the H2O what a wonderful sensation
In the H2O there's a ton of recreation
Every which way, hooray, go with the flow
Fly with me in the H2O
