This is the closing song for the Songs from the Sea album and was later also used as the
closing song for the Undersea Selections album. It starts out as Ariel writing a letter to the
listener, and then the mermaid chorus comes on as though to invite you into their underwater
realm. The melody and harmony of this song totally make it a worthwhile
listen. It really would have made an awesome song for the series,
because of its haunting and magical tone. It actually reminds me of the
Little Mermaid anime because it sounds so seductive, and the mermaid chorus
sounds very much like the Sirens of the sea.

Well dear friend, it's time to put this letter into a bottle. And
hope the ocean current brings it back to you. Maybe soon you'll come to
visit me, even if only in your dreams. Just follow the mermaid song and
