THE TINY PRINCESS

by Fiona
Thumbelina, the wife of Prince Cornelius of the Fairies, was in a terrible panic. Her locket, the one she had worn on her wedding day, had gone missing. This could only mean one thing. “FELICITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Thumbelina should’ve known better than to trust the witchy Duchess Felicity, Cornelius’ cousin. She had had a bad feeling about her from day one. Thumbelina marched down the castle hall, searching for Felicity. Finally, she reached the door to Felicity’s chambers. She knocked on the door. No answer. Thumbelina knocked louder. Still no answer. Thumbelina opened the door to Felicity’s room. No one was there! Thumbelina slapped herself on the head. She’d forgotten about the Annual Cultural Diversity Ball for Small Royals and Other Little People that Felicity had been invited to. She must be there. So, Thumbelina put on her finest ball gown and headed off to find Felicity (and her locket) at the Annual Cultural Diversity Ball for Small Royals and Other Little People. Cornelius met her at the door. “Are you sure you want to do this, Thumbelina?” he asked his wife. “Yes, Cornelius.” Thumbelina replied. “I need to get that locket back, and you know how your cousin gets.” Cornelius nodded. “Indeed.” He answered. So, Thumbelina set off on the journey through the village to find Felicity.
