The love song! After Thumbelina and Cornelius meet for a brief chatter (and flirtation session) they go off for a ride on Cornelius' bumble bee. And what better way to start falling in love than to sing about it? Cornelius sings most of the lines in this song, but I figure that's because Thumbelina sings so much elsewhere in the movie. The entire "let me be your wings" concept is really sweet, but a cynical friend of mine who watched kept spoiling the mood by saying, "Why does he keep promising ridiculous things?" Well, dearie, that's what love is all about. ^_^
