H2O: Mermaid Adventures
This animated Netflix series is inspired by the live-action mermaid TV series H2O: Just Add Water, depicting an alternate take of the trio of girls (Cleo, Emma and Rikki) who gain the ability to become mermaids, along with individual sets of powers that they have to learn to use.
It's cute, brightly-coloured and targeted for a slightly younger audience, so the problems they face are similar but slightly modified, plus the setting has become a bit more fantastical. Among other things, the girls are able to understand animal speech and so gain new underwater friends.
The show has two seasons, each with thirteen episodes.
